Celebrating Nurses This Week

Posted: Updated:
Tulsa -

They play a big role in saving people's lives every day, but sometimes they do not get the recognition they deserve. This week is National Nurses Week and it is aimed to show our appreciation for their dedication to health care.

Locally, Platt College in Tulsa will celebrate this week. Later today, the school will give student nurses "survival kits" with helpful information to help them succeed. And tomorrow, there will be a special event at the campus auditorium for National Student Nurse Day.

Also on Thursday, The American Nurses Association will have a free continuing education webinar available to nurses.
