ARKANSAS CITY (KATV) - Police are looking for a suspect who escaped from the Desha County Courthouse Monday.

According to the McGehee Police Department, 25-year-old Glen Darnell Perrian was supposed to appear on a bank robbery charge but ran away before the hearing started. Search dogs were brought in and caught his scent for a time, but police weren't able to find him.

He is described as 6'3" tall, weighing 175 pounds.

The McGehee police chief told Channel 7 News in a phone interview they do not believe Perrian is armed but do consider him dangerous. Anyone who sees him is asked to call McGehee police, the Desha County Sheriff's Office or Troop E of the Arkansas State Police.
