Posted: Updated:
Rogers County, OK -

The Rogers County Sheriff's Department says a lawnmower stolen in Rogers County was found in Rogers, Arkansas.

Sheriff Scott Walton says the victim found his lawnmower on Craigslist fairly quickly after it was stolen.  He called the person who put out the add, who told him he could have it back for $1500.  That's when the sheriff's department stepped in.

Rogers Police Officers checked the serial number, which verified it was the stolen equipment.

The lawnmower was returned to it's owner.

Sheriff Walton says it is fairly common to have outdoor equipment stolen in Rogers County.
