Man Shot in Leg Outside North Tulsa Apartments

Officers were at the scene of a north Tulsa shooting Monday morning after a black male was shot near an apartment complex.

Tulsa Police received a phone call in relation to the male shot at Sunset Plaza apartments, located off of Martin Luther King at the 900 block north. 

Officers told KTUL that the male was found lying down in a parking lot screaming. The male was found with a single gun shot wound in his leg, according to police records.

The victim told officers that he was walking through the parking lot and someone stepped out and shot him. He said he didn't know who shot him.

Police are trying to interview witnesses and neighbors to try to find out what happened. According to the officers, some evidence was located, which they are documenting.
