LITTLE ROCK (Arkansas News Bureau) — The number of homes sold in Arkansas in March increased by 7 percent compared to a year earlier, and the average price of homes sold increased by 5.1 percent, the Arkansas Realtors Association said Thursday.
The association said 2,159 homes sold in the 43-county area it surveyed in March, up from 2,017 in March 2012. The average price of a home in March was $154,478, up from $146,920 a year earlier.
