RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has scheduled a public meeting to discuss the results of an inspection he held following a fatal accident at Entergy Corp.'s nuclear plant near Russellville.

The meeting will be at 2 p.m., May 9, at the Richie Training Center at Arkansas Nuclear One.

A March 31 accident killed 24-year-old Wade Walters. Officials say a 550-ton piece of equipment fell on top of him. Eight other workers were injured.

Walters was employed by a contractor, Precision Surveillance Corp., which was working at the site.

The accident cause an off-site power loss to Unit 1 and an automatic shutdown of Unit 2 at the plant. Unit 2 has since resumed producing electricity.
