Lonoke County suspect escapes custody

Lonoke County Sheriff's deputies are on the lookout for a man who escaped custody Tuesday evening.  

According to department spokesman, Lieutenant Jim Kulesa, 41-year old Roy Moore was released to a local hospital for medical problems, while wearing an ankle bracelet to monitor his movements.  

Kulesa says around 6 PM, Moore took the bracelet off and walked out of the hospital. 

Moore was in custody for non-violent burglary charges.  

He is described as a white male, 6'0 tall and weighing 220 pounds.

    Saline County celebrated the return of its“Lost Seal” by installing a historical civil war marker. The county hasn't had the seal since 1863 but it is now back in the county's possession. In 1996 Gary Smith of Pine Bluff discovered the seal with his metal detector in Grant County.More >>
