Hundreds of chefs come to Little Rock for cooking competitions, demonstrations & seminars

You could call it Iron Chef Little Rock.

Some of the top chefs in the nation are going head to head in the American Culinary Federation competitions and conference in Little Rock this week.

Monday they competed for ACF Pastry Chef of the Year and ACF Student Chef of the Year titles. The winners will be announced at the awards gala on Wednesday.

The rest of the week includes events such as a hands-on workshop for chocolate lovers to learn how to perfect their chocolate techniques and how to accommodate for the growing need for gluten and allergy free foods.

Competitions, cooking demonstrations and seminars continue through Wednesday. If you're interested in attending, click here for registration information.
