Free Landfill Days For Bixby Residents

Posted: Updated:

If spring cleaning is your to-do list, there's good new for residents in Bixby.

City utility customers can throw things away for free at the quarry landfill Friday from 6:00 am until 5:30 pm and again on Saturday from 7:00 am until 1:00 pm.

If you don't have a utility bill, you can also show a driver's license with a Bixby address to get in.

The landfill is in north Tulsa on 46th Street North about a half-mile off Highway 169.

No items containing Freon refrigerant will be accepted like air conditioners and refrigerators. There will be a $2 dollar fee for each discarded tire to cover state fees for disposal and recycling.
