TPS Officials Hold Forum for Sale of Barnard Site

Tulsa -

Tulsa Public Schools is hosting a meeting Thursday to talk about the possible sale of the former Barnard Site.

TPS says it received a reasonable offer by the district for the site.  However, the Board Of Education wanted to make the decision after the meeting.  The public is open to this forum.

The forum is Thursday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wilson Teaching and Learning Academy on 11th Street.

Barnard was closed in 2011.  The Tulsa School of Arts and Science moved there in 2012.  However last September, the building was demolished after a fire caused extensive damage.
