NORTH LITTLE ROCK (KATV) – The Arkansas Revenue office at 6929 JFK evacuated after reports of a suspicious package.

An unnamed person entered the Revenue office where an alleged altercation took place. After the person exited the building, a backpack was left outside of the door.

NLRPD responded and detained the suspect, who claimed there were only clothes inside the backpack.

The bomb unit also responded and the surrounding buildings were evacuated as a precaution. After checking the bag, investigators said there really were only personal items inside the bag.
