Town Hall to address oil spill cleanup timeline

MAYFLOWER (KATV) - Anyone with questions or concerns about the Pegasus Pipeline spill in Mayflower can voice them Monday at a town hall meeting.

Speakers will give a summary of the current situation, including water and air quality. There will also be information about future solutions.

Organizers hope to present a timeframe for finishing the cleanup during the town hall.

The meeting will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the natural resource center in Conway.

    Saline County celebrated the return of it's “Lost Seal” by installing a historical civil war marker. The county hasn't had the seal since 1863 but it is now back in the counties possession.In 1996 Gary smith of Pine Bluff found discovered the seal with his metal detector in Grant County.More >>
