Three men were booked into the Owasso Jail Thursday evening after officers found them stealing laundry soap and diapers at a local Walmart.

Owasso Police booked Gregory Harris, Christopher Payne and Caleek Moore on grand larceny complaints. All three were alleged to have taken part in shoplifting incident Thursday afternoon at the Walmart on East 96th St. North.

According to a booking report, a store door greeter witnessed that Harris had pushed out "a lot of pampers and Tide laundry detergent failing to show his receipt."

Harris, Payne and Moore were asked for their receipt by the greeter originally at the store's east side entrance. It was then that the three men turned and went to the west side and failed to produce a receipt again.

All three men exited the west side entrances moments later and were confronted by officers in the parking lot where they were still loading the merchandise in the vehicle. Surveillance footage showed all three had passed all points of sale "failing to purchase any of the merchandise they had pushed out."

An associate with the store reviewed the footage and found that all three had loaded a cart containing a total of 28 items for $555.39. The items included:

   - Tide laundry detergent

   - Beer

   - Diapers

   - Grocery items

All three were taken into custody on the grand larceny charge. Payne was booked on additional unauthorized use of a credit card and larceny from a retailer complaint.
