HOT SPRINGS (Hot Springs Daily) - A Hot Springs residence was heavily damaged from a falling tree during a thunderstorm Wednesday.

A large oak tree uprooted and fell through the roof and into the rear wall of the house on Ward Street in Hot Springs.

There were no injuries resulting from the incident, but as a precaution the fire department disconnected the electricity and gas to the home.
