Oklahoma Standardized Testing Begins Wednesday

Posted: Updated:

Sharpen those number two pencils, because it's time for testing.

Students across the area will begin standardized testing Wednesday as prescribed by the state board of education.

Kids 3rd through 8th grades are up first, while middle and high school students begin their testing next Monday.

To get ready, schools like Hawthorne Elementary in Tulsa are holding a pep rally.

University of Tulsa student-athletes will be on hand to give encouraging words before tests begin.

Also today, McDonald's restaurants across the metro area will offer free breakfast to kids who will be testing. The offer is good today only fro 6:00 to 9:00am.
