Head-On Crash Kills Tulsa Man

A Tulsa man is dead following a serious crash in Muskogee county.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said accident happened Monday evening near Haskell on Highway 16.

Troopers told KTUL.com 31-year-old Jeremy Norwalk of Tulsa was driving east on Hwy. 16. He drifted across the center line and hit a pickup truck head on.

Norwalk died on the scene.

The other car, driven by 24-year-old Jonathan Duncan of Edmond, rolled onto its side from the impact. He was trapped inside for 40 minutes.

Troopers said both Norwalk and Duncan were wearing their seat belts. They continue to investigate what caused Norwalk to veer into the other lane.
