UPDATE: Police Identify Body Found In North Tulsa Street
Lawrence J. Tennyson
Police on scene near 2900 N Martin Luther King
An anonymous tipster leads Tulsa Police to a man's body in the middle of a north-side street.
Officers got the call around 10:40 Sunday night near 2900 north Martin Luther King Boulevard. Detectives said the man, 30-year-old Lawrence Tennyson, was shot earlier in the evening.
They believe he was shot somewhere else and dumped in the road from a moving car.
Tulsa Police homicide detective sergeant Dave Walker said Tennyson didn't own a car, but may have been riding in a 2000s model Dodge Neon over the weekend. The car is silver and may have tinted windows, Walker said.
Homicide detectives can use any information citizens might have via the Crimestoppers line at 918-596-COPS or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
