Victim Identified in Friday Night Fatal Shooting

Tulsa Police were called out to a possible shooting in North Tulsa Friday, April 5.

According to police, Henry Rodgers, 51, was found with a gun shot wound to the chest.

Officers investigating the scene stated that Rodgers and 62-year-old Perry Hill were involved in an altercation. Rodgers was found in the street near 5000 North Hartford Place.

Hill was still at the scene when police arrived and was identified as the shooter by a witness. According to Hill's booking report, as he was handcuffed, he told officers that he had shot the victim.

Hill told officers where the gun was located in the front yard of a house.

Hill is being held for First Degree Murder.
