1620 Savoy's Lobster Mac & Cheese

Lobster Mac & Cheese

Chopped shrimp 2 oz.

Steamed lobster meat   4oz

Chopped garlic 1 tsp.

Chopped shallot  1tlbsp

Gruyere cheese 3 cups

Béchamel    3 cups 

Pernod 1 tbsp.

Basil chopped    1/8 cup

Macaroni Cooked   1 lb.

Butter 2 tbsp.

Bread crumbs (optional)

 

Method of preparation

In medium sauce pot melt butter

Add shrimp, shallot, garlic, & let cook for 3 min

Deglaze with pernod & add béchamel 2 cups of the béchamel lobster

Macaroni, & basil let simmer for 2min

Spoon mixture into baking dish & bake for 15 min at 375*
