Posted: Updated:

Detectives are asking the public for help Tuesday identifying a male suspected of robbing a south Tulsa convenience store.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. on March 24 when Tulsa Police responded to a robbery at the Quik Trip on 92nd E. Avenue. It was there that a black male entered the store and took money from the clerk.

According to the release, when police arrived at the location a store clerk told them that the male entered the convenience store with a yellow towel covering his face, approached the counter and presented him with an envelope, demanding money.

The clerk told officers that he cooperated with the suspect and gave him an undisclosed amount of money.

Police are now looking for the suspect described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and medium build with a light beard. He also was seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and the yellow towel over his head.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or text TIP918 to CRIMES (274637).
