Channel 8 Reporter Gets Her Dance On

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa's Channel 8 Kimberly Hulsey is dusting off her dance shoes for a good cause. The Hospitality House of Tulsa's annual "A Time to Dance With Our Stars" is just days away.

The fund raising event will be held at Union High School's UMAC auditorium on Saturday, April 6. This year's event has a 1950s sock hop theme. All proceeds go to benefit Hospitality House of Tulsa, which provides lodging and support services to families in time of medical crisis.

"It has been such a great thing to raise money for them," Hulsey said, "I am getting the chance to learn something new after my 20 plus years from ballet, tap, and jazz dance training."

Her personal ballroom dancing partner is Jay Rhea with Ballroom Blitz. He has been ballroom dancing for about 15 years.

If you would like to vote for Kimberly, donations are $1 per vote and you can vote at http://give.mobi/kimberly.
