Labor Commission Closing Tulsa Office

    The Oklahoma Labor Commissioner is closing the agency's office in Downtown Tulsa.

    It's 14 employees are being offered voluntary buyouts or jobs in the agency's Oklahoma City office.

    A spokesperson says the office is being closed to make the agency more efficient and cut costs.

    The state legislature has told state agencies that receive federal funds to expect funding cuts of up to 25% as federal officials work to cut spending.

    Services that were performed at the office will be available online.
