Posted: Updated:

Forensic experts announced the completion of a facial reconstruction from remains found in Pittsburg County in order to identify the victim.

Forensic artist Harvey Pratt completed the reconstruction in hopes that someone would recognize the victim and help solve his identity.

According to a release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, several human bones and a skull were discovered in a wooded area on December 12 of last year near Quinton on Wagon Ranch. Deputies and the medical examiner's officer recovered the remains and believe the body was placed in the area between two and five years ago.

Officials with the medical examiner's office are unable to determine the cause and manner of death at this time.

Investigators have determined that the remains belonged to a white or Hispanic male between his 40's-60's, according to the release. He is also believed to be around 5-foot-3 or 5-foot-8-inches tall.

Officials also determined that he was right-handed at some point in his life and suffered a broken lower left rib. No other information was available.

If anyone believes the skull reconstruction looks similar to someone who has not been seen in several years, please call the Pittsburg County Sheriff's Office at (918) 423-5858.
