Detectives Seek Help Identifying Suspect in Parking Lot Robbery

Detectives are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at a restaurant parking lot earlier this month.

Robbery detectives stated that just after noon on March 11, a 77-year-old female was approached by a black male in the Arby's parking lot located on 1443 S. Memorial Drive. At the scene the suspect forcibly pulled her from her vehicle and took her purse.

According to the release, the male was armed with a handgun and ran from the scene just after the robbery. Surveillance footage from a nearby business shows the suspect's vehicle as it fled from the parking lot.

Police are no looking for a 4-door vehicle, silver in color and possibly an Oldsmobile Alero. The surveillance footage can be seen to the right.

The suspect is described as being approximately 20-years-old, tall and thin. He also was wearing all black and a black and white mask at the time of the robbery, according to the release from TPD.

Police also stated that a black female was possibly the driver of the vehicle and two additional black males were inside. No further information was provided in the release.
