The Tulsa 66ers topped the Iowa Energy, 93-85, on Saturday at the SpiritBank Event Center behind Oklahoma City Thunder assignee DeAndre Liggins' 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Fellow Thunder assignee Daniel Orton posted 11 points, eight boards and six assists and Oklahoma City forward Perry Jones collected seven points, 13 rebounds and four assists.
Andy Rautins led all scorers with 24 points after shooting 6-for-12 from behind the 3-point arc. The 66ers tied a season-best with 13 3-pointers.
After leading by two heading into the fourth quarter, Tulsa outscored Iowa 29-23 in the final frame. With an 81-77 lead with just under three minutes remaining, Tulsa sunk back-to-back 3-pointers by Rautins and Tony Taylor (10 points, three rebounds, three assists, three steals) to build a 10-point lead. The 66ers held Iowa in the final minutes to seal the win.
Tulsa outrebounded Iowa 47-41 while distributing 26 assists.
