SEARCY -

The Searcy Goodwill will be reopening in a new location this week after a fire destroyed the original location.

Goodwill Arkansas tweeted "[Goodwill's] new Searcy location will be opening this Thursday! We will be located at the Old Towne Shopping Center, 2009 E. Race Avenue."

A truck trailer has been set up at the old location at 3707 E Race Avenue to accept donations.

The fire broke out early Friday morning. Authorities said they were called to the store around 4:30 AM.

No employees were hurt but the store is considered a total loss. What started the fire is still under investigation.
