McCain appearance delayed at Clinton School

LITTLE ROCK - Senator John McCain's Clinton School lecture scheduled for Friday at 6:00 p.m. has been postponed to April 12th.

A release from the Clinton School says the delay is because of a scheduling conflict.

Sen. McCain will visit the Clinton School to discuss current affairs in the United States and abroad. Sen. McCain has served in Congress since 1982, when he was elected to the House of Representatives.   He was the winner of the 2008 Republican nomination for president, and is currently serving his fifth term in the U.S. Senate.

The April 12th lecture will take place from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Robinson Center in Downtown Little Rock

    Saline County celebrated the return of its“Lost Seal” by installing a historical civil war marker. The county hasn't had the seal since 1863 but it is now back in the counties possession. In 1996 Gary Smith of Pine Bluff discovered the seal with his metal detector in Grant County.More >>
