
Braised Turnip Greens
1 lb fresh greens, chopped
1 T shallot, chopped
½ T garlic, chopped
½ T jalapeño, chopped
4 oz bacon, diced
1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
1/8 cup sugar
Method
Sweat bacon, shallots, jalapeño and garlic in large sauté pan
Add sugar and let caramelize
Add greens and let cook for 3 to 4 min
Add balsamic vinegar and cook down for 10 min
Season to taste
