After powerful storms
caused widespread damage, clean up is underway across Alabama Tuesday and Arkansans
are there to help.
The fast moving storms
downed trees and power lines have left thousands of residents without
electricity.
At least 20 Entergy Arkansas
employees will help get the power back on in Alabama. A caravan of five bucket
trucks and another four or five smaller support vehicles left from the Baseline
Service Center early Tuesday morning.
"We're glad to help, as it may be us needing
assistance next time around," said David Lewis, Entergy Arkansas spokesman.
Similar groups left from
four other regions around the state.
