CONWAY (KATV) - A man reportedly showed up drunk to his hearing on a driving while intoxicated charge.

Delton Stubbs smelled like alcohol, had watery eyes and used mumbled speech at his hearing Thursday, according to a police report. Our partners at the Log Cabin Democrat report the 31-year-old claimed that he'd "had a few beers" after getting off work earlier that morning at 3:00. About eight hours later at the courthouse, his blood alcohol level registered at 0.20 on a portable breath test.

Stubbs was re-arrested at the courthouse. At last check, he was being held at the Faulkner County Detention Center Unit 2.
