Water quality company announces Director of Engineering Milligan will also assume duties as VP.

Clete Brewer, CEO of BlueInGreen, LLC recently announced that Christopher Milligan has been promoted to Vice President. Mr. Milligan, who has been Director of Engineering with the company since March 2012, will continue to oversee the Company’s engineering team and help with strategic planning for both operations and marketing.
With over ten years of professional experience in the civil and water engineering fields, Mr. Milligan has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of water related projects. He has spent three years concentrating on hydrologic and hydraulic studies in support of transportation projects and eight years specializing in water and wastewater engineering. Having the opportunity to work for both government agencies and private operators, Milligan has gained extensive expertise in the design and operation of a variety of water and wastewater treatment facilities. He has successfully managed projects from conceptual planning through start-up operations.
After graduate school, Milligan joined an ENR (Engineering News-Record) Top 500 Design Firm and quickly worked his way into a senior management position. He then established his own consulting engineering firm, and BlueInGreen became one of his first clients. Upon learning more about BlueInGreen’s technology, Mr. Milligan saw its market potential and joined BlueInGreen as Director of Engineering.

Mr. Milligan has extensively studied membrane biological reactors for combined phosphorous and nitrogen removal, leading to publications by both the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA). He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Milligan is a licensed wastewater treatment operator and a licensed professional engineer in nine states.
