Sooners Ladies Given 6th-Seed - KATV - Breaking News, Weather and Razorback Sports

The Sooner ladies are the 6th-seed in the Oklahoma City Region of the Women's NCAA Tournament.  They'll face 11th-seed Central Michigan Saturday morning at 10:10am in Columbus, OH.

"I'm very excited with a 6 seed and very proud of the representation of the Big 12 Conference in the NCAA Tournament," Oklahoma head coach Sherri Coale said. "That's amazing and, I think, because of the respect the committee had for the league, that's probably why we got the seed we did."

This is the OU women's 16th NCAA Tournament appearance.
