Broken Arrow Fire Chief Resigns

    The City of Broken Arrow says Fire Chief Jeff VanDolah has submitted his resignation to take a job in the private sector.

 

    VanDolah served as Fire Chief since April 2011.  He began is career with the Broken Arrow Fire Department in 1984.  He also served as the Assistant Fire Marshal in Investigations with the Tulsa Fire Department.

 

    The city says during his time as chief, VanDolah hired 24 new members for the department, supervised the construction of Station No. 2, helped modernize the fire department fleet bug purchasing a new pumper truck, three new ambulances and installing mobile data computers in all fire department apparatus.

    VanDolah's last day will be April 19th.
