Three inmates who escaped from the Yell County jail are back in police custody.
Bret Cooksey, Jacqueline Stobaugh and Seth Chowning reportedly overpowered a jailer Sunday afternoon and escaped. They were apprehended around Midnight Monday.
Sheriff Bill Gilkey said he appreciated area law enforcement officer who assisted in taking those suspects into custody.
Deputies continue to investigate the details surrounding the escape.
