LITTLE ROCK (KATV) -
Little Rock started the St. Patrick's Day celebration early this weekend.
Saturday, the annual Rock to North Little Rock St. Patrick's Day Parade started at Third and Rock Street in downtown little rock and ended on Main St. in North Little Rock near Creegeen's Irish Pub.
Crowds gathered to see the decorative floats, Irish wolfhounds, bagpipe bands and Irish dancers.
The parade also held a food drive benefiting the Arkansas Rice Depot.
Parade participants and spectators were asked to bring at least one canned good or non-perishable food item to donate.
