Sand Springs Teen Arrested on Possession of Illegal Drugs at School

A Sand Springs teen was arrested earlier this week after being found with and possibly selling marijuana at a high school.

Ethan Ryan Reeder, 18, was taken into custody Monday afternoon by Sand Springs Police on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance on school grounds and possession of drug paraphernalia. He attended school at Charles Page High School.

According to the arrest report, police were informed of Reeder's illegal activities when an assistant principal received information that he was in possession of illegal drugs. The assistant principal and officer went to Reeder's classroom and walked him back to the office.

At the office a search was conducted that revealed Reeder had:

   - small blue and white capsules marked S489 (50 mg) in a small clear plastic bag

   - a small clear bag with white residue

   - a silver set of AWS electronic scales covered with marijuana residue inside

   - $620.00 in cash

The officer at the school took Reeder into custody after verifying the contents inside his backpack. He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.
