FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - One of new Arkansas coach Bret Bielema's top priorities this spring is to find a quarterback to replace the graduated Tyler Wilson.
The Razorbacks have practiced three times so far under their new coach, and they'll wrap up the final of their 15 spring practices on April 20th with the spring game.
Bielema says he's watched little film from Arkansas' 4-8 record last season, preferring to start fresh in his evaluations. That's a good thing for quarterbacks Brandon Mitchell and Brandon Allen, who are the top choices so far in the competition to replace Wilson.
Mitchell spent most of last season at wide receiver, but the senior has played in three seasons. Allen, meanwhile, struggled in his first season in the Southeastern Conference but has shown flashes of ability.
