Riders To Find Books In Tulsa's Downtown Bus Station

Posted: Updated:

A new kind of library is about to appear inside a Tulsa bus station.

The Tulsa City-County Library is announcing its first pop-up library inside Tulsa Transit's Denver Avenue facility.

Parents and kids who ride into downtown can stop at the pop-up and read "The Wheels on the Bus."

Funding from the Tulsa Library Trust will establish a collection of children's books as part of the new play area at the Denver Avenue Station.

Riders can take the books with them, and are asked to return them when they get done.

For more information on TCCL's newest pop-up library, call the AskUs Hotline, 918-549-7323, or visit the library's website, www.tulsalibrary.org.
