HOPE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a Hope man was arrested in an undercover sting after postal inspectors intercepted a package containing 15 pounds of marijuana.
Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton says a drug task force member dressed up as a postal carrier and knocked on the door of 32-year-old Prince Demongo Thomas. The sheriff tells the Texarkana Gazette (http://is.gd/LcxBrN ) that police arrested Thomas after he accepted the package.
Thomas was arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver. He's being held in the Hempstead County jail, and authorities didn't know if he had an attorney.
Authorities say they're still investigating who mailed the marijuana.
