The Conference USA Basketball Tournaments tip-off here in Tulsa on Wednesday. The men get underway at the BOK Center and the women at the Tulsa Convention Center.
If the Golden Hurricane are to play past this weekend they'll more than likely have win the title.
TU has three seniors. But one, Scottie Haralson, has been a fixture here in Tulsa for three-years. Coach Danny Manning says his leadership and willingness to put team first was huge for this squad.
Last Wednesday Scottie had an emotional senior night dedication. Tears flowed as he realized his career at Tulsa was almost over.
"That was touching and pretty cool at the same time." Manning said, "Anytime those emotions flow through your body, if your comfortable enough to just let it go. It is what it is, I am going to miss this place, I love this place, I enjoyed being here and I can't believe it's come to an end."
The Golden Hurricane will try to keep Scottie's career alive with a win Thursday night against East Carolina.
Coming up this week we'll talk with Scottie about his experience at TU and what made it so special.
