
LITTLE ROCK (AP) - Michael Perry scored 16 points and had a steal and a free throw in the final seconds as Pottsville beat Pine Bluff Dollarway 54-50 for the Arkansas Class 4A boys basketball title.
The lead changed 12 times in Thursday night's game and Perry's steal at mid-court with 10 seconds left helped seal the victory. Tyler Weaver scored 11 for Pottsville (27-6).
Dollarway (29-3) was led by Kabion Ento's 15 points. Davone Chapman had 12 and Dequan Christmas scored 11.
The Cardinals blocked nine shots and had more attempts from the floor, but made only 4 of 21 shots in the fourth quarter. Pottsville hit 17 of 25 free throws for the game.
Pottsville led 18-13 after one quarter but trailed 32-28 at the half.
