accident at the Young Road overpass on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock, according
to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
AHTD personnel are installing hydraulic jacks to stabilize the bridge for
future traffic use on the overpass. However, it's still unclear when the overpass
will re-open for traffic.
Traffic is running normally along Interstate 40. However, a barrier wall
has been installed along the shoulder of the westbound lane in the vicinity of
the bridge.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through
all highway work zones.
