ASU, UALR get byes in Sun Belt women's tournament - KATV - Breaking News, Weather and Razorback Sports

HOT SPRINGS (AP) - On the women's side of the Sun Belt Conference basketball tournament, Arkansas-Little Rock and Arkansas State have first-round byes.

UALR won the Sun Belt West and will play on Saturday against the winner of South Alabama-Troy game. The tournament is at the Summit Arena in Hot Springs.

ASU and Florida International also play Saturday.

The tournament gets under way Friday at noon, with Florida Atlantic playing Louisiana-Monroe. The championship will be at 1 p.m., March 11, and will be televised on ESPNU.
