CONWAY (KATV) - A Malvern man turned himself in to Conway police Friday on charges of posing as an escort service owner and attacking a prospective employee.

Loyton Francis allegedly posed as "Jake Lancaster" and posted an ad on Craigslist saying he wanted to interview potential employees. A 20-year-old Conway woman said she agreed to let the 31-year-old pick her up for what she thought was dinner and an interview but claims he took her to a field, pulled a knife - and later a gun - on her and demanded she undress.

She managed to get out of the car and called a friend to pick her up. She was not physically hurt during the incident.

Francis was charged with aggravated assault.

Investigators found he was already on release awaiting trial for a similar case in the US Federal Court of Arkansas - Western Division, according to Conway PD spokesperson LaTresha Woodruff. At last check, he was in federal custody.

Conway PD Detective Brian Williams said it's very likely the Conway woman is not Francis' only victim. If you believe you were victimized by Francis or you have information on this case, you are asked to call Conway Police at (501) 450-6120 or you can text an anonymous tip to CRIMES with the keyword Conway in the body of the text.

You can also contact the US Marshall's Office in Little Rock.
