
BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) - Greg Gantt scored 26 points and Stefan Moody backed him up with 25 to lead Florida Atlantic to a 73-59 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock in a Sun Belt Conference game Saturday night.
Gantt hit 8 of 16 from the field and 8 of 9 from the line, and Moody was 9 of 18 from the field for the Owls (13-17, 8-11), who had lost two in a row and 5 of 6 coming into the game.
Leroy Isler scored 14 points and Josh Hagins had 10 for the Trojans (15-14, 9-9), who have lost four straight. Arkansas-Little Rock is 1-11 when allowing 70 points or more.
FAU shot 48.1% from the field (25 of 52), while Arkansas-Little Rock hit 33.3% (21 of 63).
Leading 29-23 at halftime, Moody's 4-point play pushed the Owls' lead to 51-39 midway through the second half, and Florida Atlantic cruised to the victory.
