Garland County- Crews are continuing to remove winter storm debris along
Highway 70 in Garland County. According to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation (AHTD), it will require additional lane closures.
The work began in early
February on each side of the highway between the Garland County line and Martin
Luther King Expressway in Hot Springs. Due to extensive ice damage to trees,
the project will continue in that area until at least Friday, March 22nd.
All work will be performed weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather
permitting.
Drivers should be cautious
and follow the speed limit when approaching and traveling through the work
zones.
