Imagine getting a tweet or e-mail from someone who's no longer alive.

Sounds creepy but it can actually happen.

Technology companies, like DeadSocial, are making it possible for you to send a pre-written e-mail, Facebook status, or tweet after death.

Some are even coming up with ways to keep your Twitter account active with regular updates that mimic your current Twitter personality.

The company's founder says it's a savvy way for people to say their final goodbyes.
