WHITE COUNTY (KATV) - On Sunday, February 10, the White County Sheriff's Office investigated the report of a Residential Burglary and Theft on Sibley Trail Road in the Letona area. The victim told police that approximately $40,000 worth of property had been stolen.

Through the investigation authorities were able to identify Shane Allen Roberson, 40 of Searcy, as a possible suspect. After speaking with Roberson, detectives determined he did take part in the Burglary and Theft. Roberson ended up returning a large amount of the property to the owners.

While Roberson was under investigation for the Sibley Trail case he was also developed as a possible suspect in the Burglary of a home on Mt. Pisgah Road in the Searcy area in February. It was reported that approximately $10,000 worth of property had been stolen. Detectives were able to recover several items.

Formal charges are expected to be filed in reference to both cases where restitution will be requested for any property that was not returned by Roberson.
