Students complain of gas leak at Little Rock school

Posted: Updated:

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - About a dozen students at Hamilton Learning Academy complained about a gas leak Thursday morning.

Pamela Smith told Channel 7 News that a pilot in the kitchen malfunctioned just after 7:30 a.m., spreading gas throughout the campus. Centerpoint has since fixed the problem.

The 10-15 kids who originally complained about smelling the gas went home with asthma concerns. All other students were back in class by 11:45.
