CONWAY (KATV) - New leads in the shooting of a driver along I-40 earlier this month were released Wednesday by State Police.
Jose Martinez, 31, was shot Sunday morning, February 10, as he approach the I-40 westbound exit onto Dave Ward Drive. He was found in his black Nissan Frontier pick-up and taken to a Conway hospital where he later died.
Special Agents assigned to
the State Police Criminal Investigation Division now suspect a white, four-door
Nissan passenger car may have been in the area where Martinez was killed.
Agents are particularly
interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen the white Nissan as early
as 4:45 AM in the vicinity of I-40 at Morgan or along the westbound lanes into
Conway at late at 5:15 AM.
